Seedlip at the Chelsea Flower Show

The world’s first distilled non-alcoholic spirits brand creates an Artisan Garden and bespoke cocktail for the show

Seedlip, the world’s first distilled non-alcoholic spirits brand, has created a bespoke cocktail in celebration of The Seedlip Garden at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

Available to enjoy over Chelsea Flower Week at the show-ground as well as at a series of Chelsea eateries and pubs including Daphne’s, Rabbit, Tommy Tucker and the Duke of Clarence, Seedlip’s exclusive serve, ‘The Chelsea Garden’, features Seedlip Garden 108, Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic, fresh peas and a sprig of both Mint & Thyme.

It pays homage to Seedlip’s Artisan Garden, which has been designed by Dr Catherine MacDonald of Landform Consultants. Inspired by The Art of Distillation published in 1651 and the Founder’s 300 year old family farming heritage, The Seedlip Garden is a conceptual Artisan garden that illustrates this epic ‘book to bottle’ journey. A central abstract copper sculpture depicts this 350-year-old journey that led Seedlip’s founder to develop the world’s first distilled non-alcoholic spirits in his kitchen in the woods.

Set in symbolic oak housing with copper detailing, ‘old meets new’ laboratory-style benches showcase the respective eras with Copper pipework and channels carrying water through the garden, in tribute to their importance in the process of distillation. The garden’s planting palette is influenced by rarely seen species from The Art of Distillation as well as those relevant to both modern and ancient herbal medicine.
